What Would The Top Slot On Google Be Worth To You?
by Owen Jones on May.25, 2010, under Uncategorized
I was wondering whether you had realized just how much article submission software has improved over recent years? For instance, this article has been written and submitted to thousands of directories, lists and blogs on auto-pilot over a period of a month by the world’s best article management software.
Please, you don’t want to miss out on this, as it really is that important, if your online strategy involves promoting any kind of website on the Internet.
Put simply, there is just simply no other traffic generation system that works better, costs less, and is completely immune to search engine changes.
Do not forget, this is not some fancy new black-hat technique. It is completely legitimate, completely solid, and completely reliable. This system will take your article, create thousands of variations and then post them to thousands of sites. All with your sites link in the by-line. But not only that! It only posts your article to sites that want sites like yours (based on your chosen keywords) and posts according to a schedule chosen by you: ie 10, 20, 50, 100, 1,000 posts a day, starting on any future date you choose! So you could write say, three articles and have the first one go out starting the next day at 300 a day; the second one starting after seven days at 100 sites a day; and the third starting after two weeks at a rate of 50 sites a day.
What IS really new is that this already well- established technique has now been put on steroids. It combines, for the first time ever, the power of article submissions with the benefits of unique content. And it does it in a way that is simplicity itself to use.
It is worthwhile devoting a bit of time investigating this software, if you are seriously trying to sell something online. It will make your life easier by automating a lot of the problems associated with article submission.
It is important to realize that an organic link on the first page of Google provides about six times the traffic of a sponsored (Adsense) link on the same page. Just how much would you from that each month? Now multiply that by, say, a hundred or a thousand and you can begin to appreciate the value of this method!

Retirement And Online Stock Trading
by Owen Jones on May.25, 2010, under Uncategorized
The discovery of the Internet has brought about many changes in the manner we conduct our lives and our own business. We can pay our bills online, go shopping online, do our banking online, and even make a date online!
We can even participate in online stock trading. Online stock investors love having the ability to look at their investment accounts whenever they want to, and online stock brokers love having the capability to take orders over the Internet, as opposed to using the telephone.
The majority of stock brokers and brokerage houses now offer online stock trading to their clients. One other great thing about online stock trading is that fees and commissions are usually lower. While online stock trading is good news, there are some negative aspects.
If you are very to trading, having the ability to actually speak with a stock broker can be quite beneficial, if you aren’t stock market conscious, online stock trading may be a rather risky thing for you to do, although advice from a stock market trader is expensive. If this is the case, make certain that you learn as much as you can about trading stocks before you start online stock trading.
You should also be aware that not everyone has a computer with Internet access on them, although many mobile phones can get online, so you might not always have the ability to get online to make a trade. You will need to be sure that you can call and speak with a broker if you use an online stock broker. This is the case whether you are an advanced stock market trader or a beginner.
Furthermore, it is also important to open an account with an online stock brokerage company that has been around for a while. You won’t find one that has been in online business for 30-50 years of course, but you can find a company that has been in business that long and that now offers online stock trading.
Again, online stock trading is a fantastic thing – but be sure that it isn’t for everyone. Think carefully before you decide to opt for online stock trading, and make sure that you really know what you are letting yourself in for!

My First Night In Pattaya, Thailand
by Owen Jones on May.25, 2010, under Uncategorized
It was seven-ish and I was sitting in a nice-enough room overlooking the front entrance to the pub above which I had just moved in. The pub was the Pig and Whistle on Soi 7 in Pattaya. Across the way was a big hole, which they were hoping to construct a hotel in and next door to that, right opposite me, was a small bar with one lady sitting on a stool outside it. Not that there was a wall there, it was open on two sides. The Soi was nice and peaceful, I thought. I also thought that I might go and sit in that little bar and talk to that woman, if my friend was late, because I would definitely see him arrive from two metres away, the width of the Soi.
So, I went to the bar in the pub at 19:15 to await my friend who said he would arrive at 20:00. It was much busier than thirty minutes earlier but not noisy and I sat at the bar. The first thing a barmaid did was say hello, give me a menu and step back. I did not really want to eat, I only wanted a beer as I assumed we would be eating together later, but I wanted to read the menu anyway.
‘A pint of Boddington’s’, I said. It arrived and the girl began laying a place for me. I tried to say that I was not hungry, but it was no good. Like in Spain, most people eat and drink at the same time. All the while the girl was smiling at me. Then she said: ‘You live upstairs? My name Charli. What you want to eat?’. So, I gave in and ordered something and rice.
‘You first time in Thailand? You no can eat. Too spicy’, she said with a grin. ‘Oh’, I replied, ‘but I want to try. ‘I put only 50-50 for you’, she declared and went.
I battled my way through that meal and it took a Boddingtons and a bottle of water. Charli had been right, it was too hot for first-time foreign visitors and she had reduced the chilis by 50%. I have always heeded a Thai’s counsel on food ever since.
I changed seat to by the window to see what was happening as it was dark by 19:30 and I was curious. Within thirty minutes Soi 7 had changed completely. I could see hundreds of ladies and tourists milling about. I wanted to go out and join in or at least sit in the quiet bar across the way, but I’m ashamed to say that I was too scared, so I sat put, rivetted to the Pig like a rabbit in a hunter’s beam.
My friend walked in on time and after we had been talking for an hour, he said: ‘Drink up, I have someone I want you to meet’. This was it, we were going into that mele. A waitress opened the door for us and the racket and the heat were tremendous. Particularly the din. Every metre at least two or three girls would shout: ‘Hello, sexy man, you want a drink’. Trying to say no courteously to each invitation was out of the question, so I just stuck close to my pal.
Luckily, we only had about fifty metres to stroll and we sat down in another bar. My friend said hello to several ladies and then said, this a girl I have been going out with for some time. I was astounded as I had never heard him talk about her, ever. She was gorgeous, but could not speak English, so I sat in the din in silence. Not for long through, as my friend said, I have a blind date for you and he introduced another girl to me who was equally beautiful, but with whom I could speak a little. She was captivating and I was captivated. The pandemonium seemed to pass away, but it was only because I was concentrating on my new friend. The four of us had the best time and the best food I had ever had in my forty-nine years of existence.

Bathroom Lighting Accessories
by Owen Jones on May.24, 2010, under Uncategorized
There is a wide choice of lighting fixtures on the market and they make fantastic bathroom accessories. The types of lighting include the soft touch and the highlights. It is up to you to select the right lighting to suit your bathroom, however you should bear in mind that lighting contributes a great deal to the atmosphere of any room.
Choosing your bathroom lighting: It all depends on your needs. Some people will have physically-restrained lighting resources, because their wiring system is not easily accessible. Others may have a more accessible situation. Nevertheless, people can enjoy lighting that enhances the atmosphere in their bathroom thanks to technological advancement. You can now choose from various light bulbs and fixtures that meet your requirements, no matter what those requirements might be.
How do I choose the right style for my bathroom? When choosing a style for your bathroom, you should think about the range of fixtures and light bulbs. Lighting enhances the character of any room, which is something to bear in mind as well. If you have a problem seeing, you may want to choose brighter lights. On the other hand, if your vision is still good, you may enjoy fluorescent lights, which are softer in nature.
Furthermore, there is the option of mood lights, which help you to create a relaxing ambiance. Mood lights produce similar effects to candlelight. You also have the option of bright or gentle lighting. You should look into these types of lighting seriously, since they are more intense than other forms of lighting. Kerosene lamps are still available as well. These soft lights give an old-fashion atmosphere, but better still, lamps create an outdoor feeling.
Selecting the best beam of light to use After you have selected the style that you want, it becomes rather easier to work out the correct width of beam to use. Beams of light can be described as narrow beams, which are between 3 and 25 degrees wide and wide beams, which are over 40 degrees. This range of beams is similar to floodlighting. In point of fact, the forty-degree floodlight is the preferred choice of most people.
What effects can you get from lighting? You can also pick your effect. Natural light is based on tone, texture, and colour. Florescent lights cast a blue-greenish or black-purplish beam. However, you have a wide selection of colours available. Wall lights, which are lights mounted on walls, are pretty cool too. similarly, ceiling lights are hung from the ceiling and there is a widearray of fancy designs there as well such as chandeliers made of pure glass, crystal, plastic or whatever. Stand-up lights enable you to move the lamp anywhere you please. However, almost any light you pick can be adapted further by the kind of bulb you choose.
You will find a wide choice of lighting on the Internet, including the fixtures to match. You have an advantage online, since you can view pictures of your chosen lamps, lighting and fittings. In addition, you have the choice of other bathroom accessories to contrast or complement your remodelling. At the end of the day, if you are clever about it, you can fit the items separately to manufacture your very own illumination.
It does not matter what you are trying to accomplish nowadays there are many options. Whenever you are selecting bathroom accessories such as lighting and fittings always think about what your bathroom is primarily used for first of all. For example, it would not be a good idea to install a fancy stand-up lamp in a kid’s bathroom, you would only be putting your children in danger.

Fly Fishing 101
by Michael Adams on May.24, 2010, under Uncategorized
The idea behind this piece is to help the beginner fly fishing. The terms used and the basic methods used in fly fishing may be unknown to the beginner at fly fishing, so we will commence from the very beginning. So, if you are a beginner fly fishing person, please read on in order to become acquainted with fly fishing.
The things required for fly fishing are usually known as tackle, although if you want to be more accurate about the type of instruments you need, you can add the words “fly fishing”. So, you get the phrase: “fly fishing tackle”. Fly fishing gear basically consists of artificial flies, a fly rod, a fly reel and fly line. The set-up is: the fly is attached to the line, which is wound around the reel, which is attached to the rod, which is used to cast the bait (the fly).
To make it easier to cast the fly as far as required from the angler, the line needs to be a little weightier than the other types of fishing line, because a weight is used in other forms of fishing to get the same effect. Also, the artificial flies are available in all kinds of shapes, sizes and colours to look like real, live flies, depending on the species of fish the angler intends to catch.
Generally speaking, the artificial fly is made of hair, plastic, feathers, fabric, fur and other materials in order to make the lure as closely resemble as possible the insect or fly most commonly eaten by the particular species of fish at that particular month or time of the day. This means that each fishing location requires that you select a definite type of artificial fly that will look like the insects living in the area where your desired type of fish swim. Therefore, a kind of fly used in one part of the country may not be as successful as you’d expect in another.
There are classifications of flies too, although they fall into two basic super categories, which are referred to as ‘attractive’ and ‘imitative’. The imitative artificial lures look like real flies, whereas the attractive lures only rely on colour or the twinkling of sunlight in order to attract fish without necessarily looking like the fish’s natural diet.
These classifications are then used to further sub-divide artificial fly fishing lures into: a] dry (imitating grasshoppers, dragonflies, etc. which float on or near the surface of the water); b] sub-surface (resembling larvae, pupae) and c] wet (resembling leeches and minnows and other small fish or fry).
The main difference between fly fishing and non-fly fishing is that fly fishing depends a great deal on the weight of the line to get the artificial lure to that part of the water where your fish are schooling, probably at a distance from the angler. The line is often camouflaged and hollow.
However, non-fly fishing relies instead on the attached weight, usually made of lead previously, to draw the line off the reel and carry it forward to the correct pool, where the weight or even split shot will also take the bait or lure down in the water to the feeding fish.

Panic Alarms For Home And Business.
by Owen Jones on May.24, 2010, under Uncategorized
In all probability, every home and every business would benefit from the protection of a panic alarm. Breaks-in are common enough, but with people living longer the chances of stroke or heart attack have risen too. If you were living alone it would be awful to be lying on the ground helpless for hours. Panic alarms are the solution. They can be placed in a handy location or worn around your neck.
These are not the kind of personal alarms that emit a high pitched whistle or siren sound. Those alarms are meant to discourage criminals on the street or to draw attention to the user. No, I mean a device that triggers your home security system. it does not create a noise of its own, but communicates with the main security control box by some sort of radio signal.
Some of these panic alarms do not activate the main security siren, but instead send a message to a monitoring security company. These so-called silent panic alarms are most often used in banks, firearms shops and places that handle lots of cash. However, any business could use a silent panic alarm. Household alarm systems usually trigger the external siren in order to signal your neighbours that you are experiencing problems.
Panic buttons are especially helpful to the elderly or and infirm. Sometimes, people fall and cannot get up. You could also have a heart attack or stroke and not be able to make it to the phone. A panic button on a ribbon around your neck would resolve this problem. Some of these panic buttons are monitored too and others even have a microphone and speaker so that you can speak to an operator and explain your predicament.
Some of these panic buttons have a keypad so that you can transmit codes to the operator. Other means have been built into watches and brooches in order to make them easier to carry. If you wear your panic alarm, it is much less easy to forget to take it with you when you go upstairs or into the garden.
If you can afford security, you really ought to have a system, as good as you can afford, installed into your home and business. A panic alarm is a useful extra item for home and office use too, but it is especially reassuring to the elderly. Many older people are frightened of falling when they are in the house alone and fear of burglars or worse is a constant worry. A panic alarm linked to the main home siren is also a comfort to women living alone.
If you do get a home security alarm with a panic button, make sure that you keep a standby battery near at hand and check that the battery in the device has not become exhausted. You should also advise the neighbours you get on best with that you have a home security system and that they should come to your aid or phone the police, if they hear your home security siren and see the flashing light.

Golfing Etiquette Basics
by Rhys Jones on May.23, 2010, under Self Improvement
Golf is a carefully balanced game of rules and etiquette, and it’s very important to know the basics of golfing etiquette before you go on the course to play your first game of golf.
Golfing etiquette dictates that it doesn’t matter whether you are playing on your own, in a twosome or in a foursome, you must always wait your turn. You must also stay aware of the group on the next hole and wait until they are well ahead of you before hitting your ball.
Golfing etiquette also means that it is never cool to “hurry” the group in front of you. If you are playing with others, wait for your turn to hit the ball; never hit at the same time as another player.
While you are waiting for your turn to play, go to your ball and determine what golf club you will select and how you are going to hit the golf ball with it. This is called “ready golf” and keeps the game moving along. Don’t rush anybody, just be ready for your turn.
Another nice piece of golfing etiquette, especially for the beginner is ‘playing through’. For example, if your team is holding up the players behind you, say because you are playing consistently over par, let them play through. You would simply wave them through, or if they are near enough to you, just ask them if they would like to play through. You will never make enemies by doing this!
When someone is making a shot, you should be standing behind them and you shouldn’t make any noise! It is very distracting to be about to to tee off and just as you pull back, someone decides to jingle loose change in their pocket or noisily unwrap a bar of chocolate.
Replacing your divots. Say you are on the fairway and you hit the ball and a clod of dirt and grass goes flying, golfing etiquette says you should replace it. On some courses you just put the clod back and step on it to press it down, but on most courses, there is a sand/seed mixture on the course to put into the divot. If your ball makes a deep impression when it lands on the green, you can use your divot tool to repair it.
As soon as you have completed a hole, replace the flag and leave the green quickly so that the next players can play that hole. Count your score and write it on the scorecard when you’re back at your cart.
For sure, there is much more to golfing etiquette than this, but these basic rules of golfing etiquette will enable you to get around the course without upsetting anyone. If we all uphold golfing etiquette we will keep the game nice and friendly, or not?

Tanning Pills
by Angela Jones on May.23, 2010, under Self Improvement
There are certainly a lot of people who worship the sun for its ability to grant them a better skin colour. When you think about this, it is quite obvious, that these people are looking at ways that they can get a bronzed skin.
The methods that some people employ in order to get a tanned skin consist of getting a tan outdoors from the sun itself, but also, tanning beds, tanning booths, spray on tanners, self tanning lotions and tanning pills. In part, the decision which of these methods you select, depends on the length of time that you can spare to get a perfect tan.
Some people go for tanning pills, but in reality, they work a little differently from the other, more usual methods. For example, lotions work by spreading some of the liquid, usually oil based, on different sections of your body. It is your choice which parts of you, you want to change the colour of. However, tanning pills need to be ingested orally and so will affect the whole of your body. Furthermore, you will have to choose which tanning pills to use, because, unlike lotions, if you use tanning pills, you will have fewer colour choices.
You should be well aware of this important point, because you will have to select a depth of tan which does not contrast too unflatteringly with the colour of other parts of your body like your hair, eyes, lips, etc. You can buy these tanning pills in the same shops where you purchase your other tanning supplies.
You must however check the labeling to find out if there are any precautions you will have to take. For example, one of the most important safety measures that you can take, is to see if you might have an allergic reaction to the tanning pills.
Apart from this though, you might also want to find out just what all the media hype over tanning pills is all about. This research will also assist you to decide which of the different tanning pills on the market is the right one for you. In addition, if you look on the Internet, you will get the statistics on the number of people who have encountered problems after using these tablets. At this point in time, you will discover that there are three firm favourites when it comes to tanning pills.
These tanning pills are called EluSun, Deep Tan and Mayan Secrets. The main ingredient for two of these makes is carerenoids. This substance causes the top layer of skin to turn a pinkish colour. The colour might darken over time, but it is necessary for you to keep taking these pills for as long as you require the tan.
The main drawback of tanning pills is that these pills are just as dangerous to your health as sun bathing on the beach for hours at a stretch. Once you have found out all the details you can, you will have to make your mind up whether taking tanning pills is worth the risk to your health, just to have tanned skin colour.

Selecting A Screen For Your Home Theater
by Owen Jones on May.23, 2010, under Happiness
If you are considering setting up a home theater system, then there are three basic pieces of equipment to consider. They are the screen, the speakers and the player. Two of these components are directly linked to the size of the room in which you will be seated and where you will be sitting.
All DVD players over a certain price are pretty good and you ought to listen to a couple to make up your mind. The same with speakers, although how many you will need is dependent on the proportions of the room. The screen is more important and that is what I want to discuss here.
It will not actually be of very much help to you to just walk into a department store which stocks fifty or sixty television sets all in rows. You may find that you have a preference for one screen’s colour display over another, but the colours are controllable anyway by brightness, contrast and colour mix. You need to view the screen as it will be seen in your home theater.
In order to do this, I always advise getting a pen, paper, preferably graph paper, and a rule. Draw in the proportions of the room to the largest scale that the sheet of paper allows, maybe one inch for two feet or there abouts. Then draw a line to represent the screen against whichever wall you choose and finally add a few squares for the seating. Now measure the space between them and write that figure down, because it is very important.
Using our scale above, if the gap on paper between the screen and the seating is five inches, the distance in the room will be ten feet and ten feet is 120 inches. A good rule of thumb, when trying to work out screen size is the same one used for paintings, which is that the ideal viewing distance of a picture is between three and five times its diagonal measurement. Therefore, in our illustration, the ideal screen size should be between 40 and 24 inches. However, many experts put a minimum screen size for a home theater at 28 inches.
That may come as a bit of a surprise to many of you, because a lot of people think that the solution is the bigger the better. However, primed with this information, now go to the TV store and look at the TV’s again. You will find that if you get up too close to some sorts of screen the picture becomes rather poor, particularly with conventional television screens. Plasma and HDTV permit you to get a little closer without losing quality.
Another factor is your age, or at least, the quality of your eyesight. Would you rather watch the film with your glasses on or off? Off for me, so I would tend towards the higher end of our scale or maybe even go above it. My eyes are not going to get any better, but I can always put my glasses on when the time comes that I cannot see my screen properly anymore. However, I want to put that time off for a while yet, so I would go for a 48 inch screen in this example for my home theater. Plasma, if I could afford it.

Clinical Depression? What Is That?
by Colin Jones on May.23, 2010, under Anger Management
Depression is a mental illness that is usually characterized by lengthy periods of sadness and melancholy, say the experts from the medical field of psychiatry.
However, just because one person slopes around and hates the world in general, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he/she is suffering from depression, but if this kind of behaviour, that feeling of emptiness, loss of self-worth and absolute lack of hope for happiness goes on , then, that individual is probably, indeed, depressed. Still, there are several types of depression too.
Manic or Bipolar depression is notable for sudden and extreme mood swings – one minute he or she is in an elevated state while the next minute (day or week), he or she feels as if he or she is hell.
Postpartum depression is characterized by a prolonged sadness and a prolonged feeling of emptiness by a new mother where physical stress during child birth, an uncertain sense of responsibility towards the new born baby can be just some of the possible reasons why some new mothers go through this.
Dysthimia is characterized by a slight similarity with depression, although this type has been proven to be a lot less severe, but of course as with any case, it should be seen to immediately.
Cyclothemia is characterized by only a nominal similarity with Manic or Bipolar depression wherein the sufferer of this mental disease has a problem with rapid mood swings.
Seasonal Affective Disorder – characterized by being depressed only during specific seasons (i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn). However, studies prove that more people actually become ill during the Winter and Fall seasons. Or they could suffer from mood swings, wherein a person’s mood may shift from happy to sad to angry in quite a short time.
‘Clinical depression’ or ‘major depression’, as some call it, is the correct medical term for depression. Actually, clinical depression is more a disorder than an illness, because it refers to those who suffer from the symptoms that cause depression.
However, despite it being an actual disorder, clinical depression can be treated very successfully. Doctors are usually very optimistic that patients suffering from clinical depression will soon be well on their way to regaining good mental health if they receive treatment as soon as they have been diagnosed. Patients who have sought treatment for clinical depression have proven to be quite successful in their hopes, since 80 percent of those treated have found relief from their illness.
If you are looking for answers to questions related to clinical depression, the depression section of the health centre is highly recommended, as well as books on psychiatry and the Internet, which offers a lot of useful information, although self medication is very much frowned upon. Clinical depression may not pose as much of a threat as the other types of mental illness, but it is best to leave to the professionals who can attend to and cure this disorder.
